Are you looking for the next step forward in your life?  The next step which will move you into the next phase of your life.  Discovery Baptist seeks to encourage people in their journey toward God, from wherever you might be, whatever you might be going through, that you might experience the fullness of what life has to offer.

Discovery Baptist was a church plant in North Lakes (a new suburb on the north side of Brisbane) which emerged through the combined vision of Mission to Queensland, Narangba Baptist Church and other surrounding local churches.  It has been so valuable for North Lakes to have a church planted in the heart of their community, giving local identification and opportunity for the church to develop significant relationships with the people, businesses and community groups.

The heart of Discovery Baptist has always been to join God in His mission, taking God's love out into the local community.  We look for what we term 'encounter points': places where people might encounter God's love in the course of their normal daily routine.  In these places, people who would normally have no contact with the Church meet the powerful presence of God and His Church at work.
